DID YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR 'SECRET GARDEN'?
The SBC Preschool runs every weekday and we have a good relationship with them. Several years ago, the church adopted the back part of the garden of 153 Addington Road (the house next to the church where our Youth Minister lives) and it was used an allotment for a while. More recently, Preschool have taken over responsibility for this plot and use it for staff to take their breaks and for the children to do a bit of gardening! Preschool have recently, at their own expense, refurbished this area. Their contractors have worked hard, laying decking, turf and a path to make it useable by them – and us!
To see the garden, go through the fire door in the Coffee Lounge and open the gate in the fence opposite. We look forward to seeing what will grow there! Theresa Nichols
